General Sales Conditions

Introduction

These general terms and conditions of sale relate to the ticketing activity set up by Emisys SPRL. Emisys Inc. is located at Rue Riverre 12, 5150 Floreffe Belgium, with VAT number BE 0566.973.908. It will be referred to as “Emisys Inc.”.

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted the general terms and conditions of sale, which serve as an agreement. Emisys Inc. acts as an intermediary for the events for which it provides ticketing services. These general terms and conditions of sale apply and are therefore inextricably linked to the general terms and conditions of sale of the event for which the customer buys the tickets.

Article 1 – The event

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges having read and accepted the general terms and conditions of sale and the various regulations of the event for which he buys his ticket. Emisys Inc. cannot under any circumstances be held liable for any disputes between the organiser and the client. As an intermediary, Emisys Inc. cannot be held responsible for changes in the programme, programming or timetable of the event. Nor can it be held liable in case of problems related to the organisation, the weather, the layout of the space or other problems or inconveniences related to the event. Prices and their changes, as well as the number of places offered for sale, are the sole responsibility of the organiser.

Article 2 – The ticket

The ticket is registered and personal. The organiser may ask for proof of the identity of the person attending the event. In case of gift, transfer or sale of the ticket to a third party, the organizer reserves the right to invalidate the ticket and refuse access to the holder.

After payment, the ticket is accessible on the online platform of Emisys Inc. and is sent to the e-mail address provided by the customer. Printing is the responsibility of the customer. In order to be valid, the ticket must be printed and shown at the entrance to the event. Each ticket has a unique identification code and only gives access to the first person to present it first at the event.

Article 3 – Payment

Only payments in euros will be accepted. Depending on the tickets, events and purchase dates, different payment methods can be accepted. Credit cards (Visa, MasterCard), debit cards (Bancontact, Maestro), bank transfers or others.

All payments must be made in their entirety in cash. If the payment is not received within the set period, Emisys Inc. can cancel the reservation. The processing time for sending tickets may vary depending on the payment method. Any amount not paid on the due date shall automatically and without prior notice be subject to interest at the rate of 12% per annum until full payment has been made. In addition, a lump-sum fee of 15% is due, with a minimum of € 50,-.

Article 4 – Points of sale and delivery

Tickets are sold through the online platform of Emisys Inc.. In some cases, physical points of sale can also offer tickets for sale. Only the physical points of sale listed on the official Emisys Inc. website are valid.

Tickets purchased through the Emisys Inc. online platform can be downloaded and/or sent by e-mail and must be printed by the customer. They must be printed on white paper, all information must be perfectly legible. The printing costs are for the account of the customer.

Any purchase from another point of sale does not guarantee the validity of the ticket and therefore access to the event.

At no time does Emisys Inc. have access to payment details, credit card numbers and credit card details… This information is encrypted and secured by the online sales platform.

Article 5 – Privacy and data processing

When purchasing tickets for events on the Emisys Inc e-shop, personal details such as names, first names and contact details of customers are requested. They undertake to provide correct and complete information. These data are used in particular to send tickets, but also to inform customers who wish to do so about new products.

These data are passed on to the organisers to enable them to manage public access and any disputes as efficiently as possible, but also to inform customers of any changes or practical information relating to their event. These organisers undertake, by means of a written agreement, not to pass on these data to third parties.

Article 6 – Cancellation and reimbursement

Any refunds will be made, via the point of sale, after decision of the organizer. No refund will be made by Emisys Inc. in the event of a change in the timetable, the programme, loss or theft of the ticket, or for any other reason.

In the event of a change of dates or complete cancellation of the event, or at the choice of the organiser, the tickets may be refunded or postponed until an external date of the same event, at the choice of the customer.

According to article VI.53 12° of the Code of Economic Law (Law of 7th of November, 2013), ticket sales are excluded from the legislation on the right of withdrawal. Consequently, no refund will be made in the event of a request for a refund, for whatever reason. The consumer does not have the right to cancel the purchase.

Article 7 – Disputes

This service is subject to Belgian law. In the event of a dispute or dispute, the courts of the district of Brussels shall have sole jurisdiction.
