General Terms and Conditions of Sale


These General Terms and Conditions of Sale apply to the ticketing activities carried out by Emisys Inc. Emisys Inc. is located at boul. René-Lévesque O 2500-1100, Montreal (QC) H3B 5C9 (NEQ: 1175088138). The company will be referred to as "Emisys Inc." hereafter.

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that he has read and accepted the General Terms and Conditions of Sale, which act as an agreement. Emisys Inc. acts as an intermediary for the organizations to whom it provides ticketing services. These General Terms and Conditions of Sale are therefore indissociable from the General Terms and Conditions of Sale of the Organization from which the customer buys tickets.  


Article 1 - Visit/Event

By placing an order, the customer acknowledges that he has read and accepted the General Terms and Conditions of Sale and the rules and regulations of the visit or event he has bought tickets for. Under any circumstances, Emisys Inc. shall be held liable for any dispute arising between the organization and the customer. As an intermediary, Emisys Inc. shall not be held liable for any change in the programme, line up, or schedule of the visit or event. Likewise, Emisys Inc. will not be held liable for any problem related to the organization, the weather conditions, the configuration of the location, or any other problem or inconvenience linked to the visit or event. Prices and modifications, as well as the number of tickets on sale, fall in the exclusive competence of the organization.


Article 2 - Ticket

Tickets are nominative and personal. The Organization might require any visitor to provide a proof of identity. If a ticket is donated, given, or sold to a third person, the organization reserves the right to void the ticket and to deny entry to its holder.

Once paid, the ticket is available in the online ticketing platform of Emisys Inc. and will be sent to the email address provided by the customer. It is solely the customer's responsibility to print it. To be valid, the ticket must be printed and shown at the entrance of the visit or event location. Each ticket has a unique identifier and only grants access to the first person showing it at the entrance of the visit or event location. 


Article 3 - Payment

Depending on the tickets, visits or events, and purchase dates, several payment methods are accepted. Credit cards, debit cards, and bank transfers are some options.

All payments are due right upon delivery. If the payment is not received in the allotted time, the reservation can be cancelled by Emisys Inc. The processing time of the ticket delivery may vary depending on the payment method used. Any unpaid balance at the due date will make payable an interest of 12% a year as of right and without prior notice and will do so until the balance is paid off. A lump sum indemnity of 15% will also be payable, with a minimum of 50$.


Article 4 - Points of Sale and Delivery

Tickets are sold via the online ticketing platform of Emisys Inc. In some cases, tickets can also be sold at physical points of sale. Only those listed on the official website of Emisys Inc. are valid.

Tickets bought from the online ticketing system of Emisys Inc. can be downloaded and/or sent by email and must be printed by the customer. They must be printed on white paper, and all the information must be clearly legible. Printing fees are at the expense of the customer.

If you purchase tickets from any other point of sale, we cannot guarantee their validity, and therefore that you will be granted entry to the visit or event location.

At no time does Emisys Inc. have access to the payment details, bank card numbers... These data are encrypted and secured by the online ticketing platform.


Article 5 - Privacy and Personal Data Processing

When purchasing tickets for the visit or event on the online ticketing platform of Emisys Inc., customers must provide personal data such as their last name, first name, and contact details. Customers agree to provide correct and complete information. These data will be used for instance to send the ordered tickets or news to willing customers.

These data will be transmitted to the organization so that it can manage at best the public access and the potential litigations, but also inform customers of any changes or send them practical information about the visit or event. The organization agrees, by means of a written agreement, not to transmit these data to third parties.

At any moment, customers may ask to be removed from the database or mailing list. In accordance with applicable regulations regarding personal data processing, customers can access, update, edit, object to the processing of, or ask for the deletion of their personal data. To exercise any of these rights, customers can contact Emisys Inc. at or by regular mail to its head office.


Article 6 - Cancellation and Refund

Any refund will be made through the point of sale, by decision of the organization. No refund will be made by Emisys Inc. in the event of change in the schedule or programme, or loss and theft of the ticket, nor for any other reason.

If the visit or event is postponed or totally cancelled, or by any other decision of the organization, tickets can be, at the customer's choice, refunded or postponed to a later date.


Article 7 – Disputes

This service shall be exclusively governed by the laws of Québec. In case of a dispute, both parties agree to elect domicile in the judicial district of Montréal.
